The TransK9/C48 Double Dog Cage is one of our more spacious models. With a great finish and strategic design, it makes for a super fit in your BMW 3 Series Touring G21 2019 – Present (Excluding Hybrid).
Designed for optimum safety, the TransK9/C48 Double Dog Cage incorporates an emergency rear escape door designed for use in the event of the vehicles tailgate becoming inoperable due to impact or malfunction. You’ll be able to access your dog/s by lowering the rear passenger seats and gaining access to them from the vehicles rear passenger doors.
Within the TransK9/C48 Double Dog Cage’s clever design, other standard features include a removable central divider, key locking door handles for added security and for additional stability for the dog/s during transit, we also fit anti-slip matting inside the cage as standard. In fact everything you need is included for your BMW 3 Series Touring G21 2019 – Present (Excluding Hybrid) – there are no hidden costs at TransK9.
Our cages have been independently crash tested at the University of the West of Scotland to ensure your dogs and your passengers maximum safety. Our unrivalled build quality and warranty will ensure your TransK9/C48 Double Dog Cage has many years of satisfactory service and trouble free ownership in your BMW 3 Series Touring G21 2019 – Present (Excluding Hybrid).
All of our dog cages have a special coating that offers protection against 99.9% of bacteria. This protection is created by embedding an antimicrobial additive (SteriTouch) into the paint we use to put the finishing touches to our cages.
Fitting and care notes
Please Note: The K9/C48 WILL NOT fit the BMW 3 Series G21 Hybrid, only Petrol & Diesel variants. This is due to the raised boot floor on the Hybrid that restricts the overall boot height.
There are no specific fitting instructions for this dog cage other than removing the rear Tonneau cover (if fitted) prior to installation. However we recommend that you consider purchasing a bumper protection mat, this will help protect the carpeted tailgate and also help stabilise the TransK9 box during transit.

How to maintain your dog cage
We recommend periodic washing of your TransK9 this will help prolong its life and good looks! Occasional spraying of the lock mechanism with WD40 will ensure trouble free use for many years.
